Who can come?

Coders aged 9–16, from complete beginners to those already working on their own projects. No previous coding experience is needed. Our volunteers help each coder explore their interests and learn at their own pace.

Does it cost anything?

No—sessions are free. We run the club with support from Barbican Children's Library and the Raspberry Pi Foundation. Barbican has funded all our laptops and equipment, and our volunteers volunteer their time.

What does my coder need to bring?

Laptops and hardware are provided by the library, but feel free to bring your own laptop/equipment.

How do we sign up?

Use the Register button on the home page, which opens our Google Form. You can also fill it in when you bring your coder to their first session.

What happens if the club is full?

There are 15 places, one per laptop, offered first come, first served. Once they're filled, new registrations go onto a waiting list and we'll contact you if a place becomes available.

What if we can't make a session?

Please tell us as soon as you can by emailing coderdojo2025@gmail.com, so we can offer the place to someone on the waiting list. Replies to emails can take a few days.

Who runs the club?

Volunteers who are STEM Ambassadors, and all of them are DBS checked.

When is the club on?

Session dates and times are on the Session dates page. If a term hasn't been announced yet, the page says dates are coming soon, and we'll post them there and in the calendar as soon as they're set. Register, and subscribe to the calendar, to hear first.

How will I hear about changes?

Families who register get email reminders two days before each session. You can also subscribe to our calendar, and we post last-minute changes in Updates on the home page.

What happens to our details?

This website collects nothing. The organisers keep registration details only while your coder comes. See the Privacy page.

How do I stop the reminder emails or delete our information?

Go to the stop emails or delete your information section, choose Gmail, Outlook or your email app, and it opens an email to us, already written. If your coder has stopped coming, just tell us and we'll delete your details. We reply within 14 days.
