This website

  • This website has no forms, accounts or logins.
  • The club website does not set cookies or use analytics or tracking.
  • Our web host processes requests to deliver the site. Optional request logging is disabled.
  • The Location page offers an optional Google Maps preview. Google is contacted only when you choose Load map preview, and may receive your IP address and browser details and use cookies under its own privacy policy. You can read the address without loading the map.
  • Your browser remembers one thing until you close the tab: that you've already seen the welcome screen. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • The calendar feed is a plain file. Your calendar app downloads it; we do not create subscriber accounts or keep a named subscription list.
  • Links to other sites (Scratch, micro:bit and so on) take you to that site. Those sites have their own privacy rules.

Registration

Registration happens on our Google Form, run by the club organisers. The form asks for parent or guardian consent.

We use your details to plan sessions and volunteers.

The form has its own privacy notice. Please read it before you open the registration form.

Money and suspicious messages

We do not accept money or donations. If you receive a call or email claiming to be from the club and asking for money, payment details or a donation, please do not respond, click links or send anything. If you're unsure about a message, contact us directly atcoderdojo2025@gmail.com.

Stop emails or delete your information

We keep your details while your coder comes to the club. We delete them when you ask us to, or when you tell us your coder has left.

We go through the whole list once a year, in January and delete anyone we know has left. You don't need to sign up again each term.

We reply within 14 days.

Send it from the email address you registered with, so we know it's you. Gmail and Outlook are run by Google and Microsoft, with their own privacy policies, and are only contacted when you press their button. If these don't work, write to coderdojo2025@gmail.com.

We keep a note that your request was dealt with, but not your details, for 6 months, then delete that too. We never ask for more than your coder's first name and your registration email.

Code Club (Raspberry Pi Foundation) keeps its own list of people who subscribe on its website. To change that, contact them.
